About the Practice

Welcome to Orthopedic Associates of Arkansas.

Orthopedic surgeons specialize in diagnosing and treating all types of problems with the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons) of your body. We help you with problems like broken bones, muscle tears, bursitis, sprains, strains, osteoporosis, tendonitis, back pain, joint replacement (hips, knees, etc.), athletic injuries, and much more.

With four full-time, board certified Orthopedic surgeons, a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, a board certified Advanced Practical Nurse with a Masters in Nursing, a board certified Physical Therapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and an extensive support team, we're able to offer a full range of orthopedic services. In addition, we specialize in arthroscopic surgery (minimally invasive), diabetic foot care, spine surgery, delicate foot and hand surgery, and physical therapy.

We have two clinical sites located within Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village offering you added convenience. We are also a proud member of Health First Physicians of Arkansas, P.A., a multi-specialty physician group formed in 1997 by the merger of several of the most prominent local clinics representing twenty-eight physicians. Our goal is to address the ever changing issues in today's health care environment while continuing to provide quality health care in a cost-effective manner.

We consider it a great privilege to provide for your orthopedic needs. At your appointment, we first listen to you describe your ailment and how it affects you. Then we perform a thorough exam and discuss with you our findings and your treatment options. We answer any questions or concerns you may have and then together we decide how best to proceed. In all our treatment plans, we try to include prevention strategies to help reduce any possible problems in the future.
